Hexagon Templates 1"-4":
The set of 7 Hexagon Templates range in size from 1ā³ up to 4ā³, and are designed to draw around and cut out.
All of the sizes enable you to use the hexagon for hand or machine piecing. Each template has a 3/8ā³ seam allowance added, which makes it much easier when hand piecing. For hand piecing, use the outer edge of the template forĀ fabric and the inside edge for the paper template.
Example ā If you need a 1 1/2ā³ finished size, use the 2ā³ outer edge to cut the fabric and the inner edge 1 1/2ā³ to cut the paper template.
You can use the larger templates to cut and fold over batting and stitch together. The smaller templates are a great size to use for smaller fussy cutting projects.
The templates are also ideal to use with the 18 mm Rotary CutterĀ to ensure precision when cutting out.
